  • Grab patriotic themed, disposable tablecloths for easy cleanup.
  • Coordinate festive napkins, paper plates, cups, etc.— more easy cleanup.
  • Buy a small helium tank and blow up balloons to throw around the yard—when you’re ready to clean up, pop them and dispose.
  • Find American Flag streamers (red, white, or blue will do too!) to hang on the patio area, and anywhere that needs a touch of pizazz.
  • Buy small American flags (dollar store find, holla!) to stick in the ground all around the yard.

Easy and Yummy Grilling

For this, we like to keep it simple. Throw some meat on the grill and call it a day, or take things a step further while still keeping things easy.
  • Grilled meat of any kind is always a hit—burgers, hotdogs, grilled chicken, steaks.
  • Make chicken, steak, and/or salmon kebabs by alternating a piece of meat with a veggie of your choice (bell pepper and zucchini are always delish) on a skewer.
  • American flag fruit kebabs: strawberries, blueberries, and marshmallows alternating on a skewer. Yuuuuuum.
  • Corn-on-the-cob grilled corn: with the corn still in the husk, wrap it in some foil to grill. Remove husk, butter, and ENJOY!
